Using the clip angle - beams/beam web - double sided steel connection type, you can connect secondary beams to the web of the main beam with either a bolted or a welded connection. The welded connection can be to the secondary beam, to the main beam, or to both.
Allowable elements:
- Main beam
Straight profiles -sections: I-sections and C-sections (types: 10-15; 20-25; 37; 38; 42)
- Secondary beam 1
Straight profiles -sections: I-sections and C-sections (types: 10-15; 20-25; 37; 38; 42)
- Secondary beam 2
Straight profiles -sections: I-sections and C-sections (types: 10-15; 20-25; 37; 38; 42)
Location of elements:
- Axes of secondary beams must be parallel
- Distance between axes of secondary beams may not be greater than 1 / 2 of the height and the width of the larger of profiles (in the horizontal and vertical plane, respectively)
- Allowable angle between axes of secondary beams and the connection plane: 0
- Allowable angle between axes of secondary beams and the axis of the main beam in the connection plane: (0° - 180°)
