Using the clip angle - beam/beam web steel connection type, you can connect a secondary beam to the web of the main beam with either a bolted or a welded connection. The welded connection can be to the secondary beam, to the main beam, or to both.
Allowable elements:
- Main beam
Straight profiles, bent profiles - sections: I-sections and C-sections (types: 10-15; 20-25; 37; 38; 42; 46)
- Secondary beam
Straight profiles, bent profiles - sections: I-sections and C-sections (types: 10-15; 20-25; 37; 38; 42; 46)
Location of elements:
- Allowable angle in the plane of the secondary beam web: 0
- Allowable angle in the plane of the secondary beam flange: (-75°; +75°)
