This dialog contains options used to present a bar symbol in reinforcement tables and in a reinforcement description. Access the dialog by selecting Bars -> Shape Model from the Job preferences dialog. The dialog includes additional options as shown below.
In the Reinforcement shape model display field there are 3 elements to select. According to:

Each shape model will comply with the reinforcement shape model given in the code regardless of the shape definition method in the drawing. Reinforcement shapes will have a shape model corresponding to an appropriate shape code. |

Each shape model will comply with the reinforcement shape type regardless of the reinforcement definition method. Reinforcement with a shape code will be assigned the shape model given in the code, reinforcement without a shape code will have a shape model fit to shape. |
Use the Hook length description option to select or deselect the hook length for a bar shape in descriptions and tables.
