Using the endplate – apex steel connection type, you can connect 2 steel beams with each other with either a bolted or a welded connection.
Allowable elements:
- Main beam
- Straight profiles: all sections
- Bent profiles: all sections
- Plate girder: 1-segment beam
- Secondary beam
- Straight profiles: all sections
- Bent profiles: all sections
- Plate girders: 1-segment beams
Location of elements:
- Allowable angle in the plane of the main beam web: (-90°; +90°) without the extreme values
- Allowable angle in the plane of the main beam flanges: (-3°, 3°)
