Using the shearplate - beam/beam web steel connection type, you can connect a secondary beam to the web of the main beam with either a bolted or a welded connection.
Allowable elements:
- Main beam
Straight profiles: all sections
- Secondary beam
Straight profiles: all sections
Location of elements:
- Allowable angle in the plane of the secondary beam web: (-30°; +30°)
- Allowable angle in the plane of the secondary beam flange: (-90°; +90°)
