Composite Beam Design Connection

Composite Beam Design Extension is an application that helps engineers to perform basic structural analysis and design of composite steel beams in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.

After installing Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis you can download and install the application from the apps.exchange.autodesk.com website.

Using Composite Beam Design Extension, you can:

• Quickly check and design the behavior of composite beams
• Design the composite floor system on a floor-by-floor basis.

You perform the design according to the ANSI/AISC 360-10 code.

Although the application is dedicated to the design of composite beams, you can also use it to design non-composite steel beams.

You can display, save, and print design results in the form of a calculation note.
