In previous versions, it was not possible to access the Calculation Messages dialog again once it had been closed.
The Calculation Messages dialog is now accessible at all times when in the RC Design - Provided Reinforcement layout.
To access the Calculation Messages dialog:
The Indian code IS 456:2000 code has been supplemented with seismic dispositions for members according to the IS 13920:1993 standard.
For more information, see Indian Standard: Seismic dispositions.
The following features have been implemented for the French Annex NF EN 1992-1-1/NA:2007:
The RC wall design and verification feature has been supplemented with seismic options for the French annex NF EN 1992-1-1 / NA:2007.
These options are accessible from the Calculation Options dialog for the French code.
For more information, see Calculations of RC walls according to NF EN 1992-1-1/NA:2007 (NF P 18-711-1)
A new set of deflection options has been added to the calculation options for beams, according to the FFB recommendations from the NF EN 1992-1-1/NA:2007 code.
These new options are in accordance with the NF EN 1992-1-1/NA:2007 codes.
To find these new codes:
The list of geotechnical codes displays.
The struts functionality for the EC2 French NAD has been improved and the term "Bielles" has been replaced by the term "Reinforcing concrete struts" in the English version of the reinforcement modification dialog for NF-EN.
The verification feature was enhanced in order to take into account the bars positions more accurately.
This enhancement allows a better consideration of multilayer reinforcement especially for the Serviceability Limit States.
The algorithm which generates anchor loops has been improved.
It can now use different sizes of rebar for U-shaped anchorages and main rebar, in order to generate more effective U-shape anchorages rebar.
If you are using a computer with a multi-core processor, you can enable parallel calculations on a list of beams.
To enable parallel calculations, click Tools Preferences
Advanced, and then select Parallel processing - multiprocessing.
