Kontaktdaten sind Teil des Abschnitts Distribution der FGDC-Spezifikation. Der Abschnitt Distribution ist ein bedingter Abschnitt (obligatorisch, falls zutreffend). Bei den Anforderungen für einzelne Elemente und zusammengesetzte Elemente wird davon ausgegangen, dass Sie Kontaktinformationen in die Metadaten einbeziehen. Dies ist erforderlich, wenn Sie Kontaktinformationen einbeziehen.
