SolidWorks (SLDPRT, SLDASM) Files

You can import SolidWorks files.

• Application Menu > Import > Select File To Import dialog > Files Of Type drop-down list > Choose SolidWorks (*.SLDPRT, *.SLDASM).

SolidWorks® is a computer-aided design software application.

As of 3ds Max 2016, the SolidWorks application does not need to be installed or running on your system for you to import SolidWorks files.

3ds Max does not export the SolidWorks format.

Import options appear on the Import Settings dialog.
