Model Alignment

Use the tools on the Geometry tab to align the structural and Moldflow models as necessary. Aligning the two models will help to ensure accurate mapping of results to the structural model. If the models are already aligned, you may skip the Geometry tab.

Two different methods for aligning the models exist:

Automatic Alignment

1. Click Automatic Alignment to allow Advanced Material Exchange to estimate the appropriate alignment of the two models.

Interactive Alignment

1. Click Interactive Alignment to manually translate or rotate the structural model.
2. Specify as many translations or rotations as necessary to move the structural model into alignment with the Moldflow model.
3. Click Apply to make the move.
4. Click OK.
