Define the User Material

We need to create a material and a section definition for our structural model. The material definition only needs a name at this point. The complete material definition with Ramberg-Osgood parameters will be defined in a later step.

1. Switch to the Property Module and click Material > Create.
2. Name the new material Plastic.
3. Click OK.

Now that we have created the Plastic user material, we will assign it to the tank geometry.

1. Click Section > Create and click Continue.
2. Choose the Plastic material created above and click OK.
3. Click Section > Assignment Manager.
4. Click Create and select the entire part from the viewport.
5. Click Done and click OK to assign the Plastic material to the section. Click Dismiss.
