Example: Create a model extract containing the beams in the model

1. On the ribbon, click (Create lists).
   • Home Documents (Create lists)
   • Output Lists (Create lists)

   A dialog appears where the model objects can be selected and configured to be saved.

2. Select Model objects and then Beams.

   

3. Click (New) to save the selection set.
4. Select a model object from the list.
5. Enter a name and click Next.

   

The name displays in the left field.



6. Click Apply to save the configuration.
7. Click Next to continue.
8. In the Select destination file dialog, click OK to save the file.

   

9. Click Create list to save the file and launch the List Template Wizard to create and print the lists.
