Delete a view

This tool deletes views from a detail. The connection to the model remains.

When creating assembly drawings, various views and cuts of the main part may be generated. The unnecessary views can be deleted.

To delete a view, select the inner green frame around it and press <Delete> on the keyboard. Alternatively you can use this command.

To access the command

Ribbon: Labels & Dimensions > Parametric views:

Command line: _AstM4DetViewDelete

To delete a view

1. Open the detail drawing. On the Labels & Dimensions tab, Parametric views panel: Click .
2. Click the view to delete.

• The view is deleted.
