Change the prototype file

This tool allows changing the prototype used for the detail creation, from the drawing. For example, you can change the A0 format to A1.

How to access the command

Ribbon: Labels & Dimensions > Parametric views:

Command line: _AstM4CommChangePrototype

How to change the prototype

1. Open the drawing for which the prototype should be changed.
2. On the Labels & Dimensions tab, Parametric views panel: Click .
3. In the New drawing dialog box select the prototype to be used instead of the current one.
4. Click Settings to check if the units or page settings are different. If differences are found, the Overwrite page settings dialog box appears.

   Select the current settings that should be overwritten and click OK.

5. In the New drawing dialog box, click OK.
