Transfer connection properties

Transfers properties (parameters) of a connection to another existing connection of the same type.

To access the command

Ribbon: Extended Modeling > Joint Utilities:

Command line: _AstM4TransferParams

To transfer properties from one joint to another

1. On the ribbon, select: Extended Modeling > Joint utilities > .
2. Select an element of the joint to get the new properties and press <Enter>.
3. Select an element of the joint with the properties to transfer.

• The first selected joint is modified.

Example:

For the four columns in the picture, base plates have been created using the same macro (). The created joints are independent and their properties have been modified separately. You can transfer the properties from one joint (A6) to the other three and get identical base plate connections.
