When starting a new project, a template file is used. The template file contains default settings like the current coordinate system, the orientation, object snap settings, layer assignment and color definitions so that modeling can immediately begin.
The ASTemplate.dwt template drawing is automatically loaded. This file is configured with specific layers for Advance Steel elements.
Advance starts in a three-dimensional isometric view. The User Coordinate System (UCS) is active and set to the World Coordinate System (WCS). All coordinate entries refer to the UCS.
