The tabs in the Joint dialog boxes vary according to the joint type.
There are common tabs such as Properties, Library and Bolts in almost all dialog boxes.

The other tabs contain graphic explanations of the available parameters; the numbers in the sketches correspond to the information entry boxes.
On each joint dialog box, there is a checkbox for the automatic updating of a joint if individual beams are modified and there is a button for manual update.
Properties tab
Displays a list of saved parameters for the connection.
Type
Lists the available connection types. The graphic representation changes according to the selected type.
Name
Displays the name of the joint group. The name can be set only for the master joint of a group.
Upgrade to master
This option is available only for slave joints within a group.
If enabled, the current joint becomes the master of the joint group so that any of the properties from the joint dialog box can be modified.
Library tab
Displays a list of saved parameters for the connection.
Save values
Saves all the joint parameters set in the joint properties dialog box. A new line is added to the table.
Edit
Displays the Library content in a new dialog box, in editing mode.
Table
The table includes columns for every parameter within the joint. Each line in the table corresponds to a saved connection. To apply a saved connection, click the corresponding line on the Library tab.
Bolts tab
Specifies the bolt parameters.
Usually, allows the setting of the following parameters:
Diameter
Defines the bolt diameter. The diameter is selected from the drop-down list.
Type
Defines the bolt type. The bolt type is selected from the drop-down list.
Grade
Defines the steel grade.
Assembly
Each type of bolt has a certain combinations of nut and bolt (such as Standard or Nut and 2 Washers). The drop-down list displays the valid options.
