Document Manager

The Document Manager is the main interface to access and control all the documents created from a model. It is used to preview, manage, and erase the linked details in separate drawings (DWGs). If a DWG model or a DWG drawing is renamed, the relationship is broken but can be recreated (registered). Drawings can also be separated (unlinked) from the model.

The Document Manager provides the following facilities:

• Lists all created drawings, bill of materials / structured BOMs, and the NC-data created from the model and highlights the state of each detail.
• Interprets which detail drawings need updating after modifications to the 3D model.
• Controls the drawing update process.
• Manages the drawing revision.
