Advance Steel 2016 contains updated steel profiles for US and Canada. The profile sections were created according to the latest AISC 14.1 and CISC 9.2 standards. The latest profiles were added in new tables and the old profile tables were renamed with ZZZObsolete. The tables that contain the latest profiles contain the AISC 14 and CISC9 value in their name.

In order to accommodate the new AISC 14.1 and CISC 9.2 profiles, the following changes have been made to the mapping lines in GTCMappping2016.mdb database:
- GTC_Profile_Conversion
The above mentioned table is used when you launch the export command. In this table new mapping lines for the new SectionNames were added . This new lines point to the same GTC Section as the old zzzObsolete profiles.
- Profile_Exports_Conversion
The above mentioned table is used when you launch the import command. In this table the existing mapping lines to point to the new SectionNames were modified. This has modified lines point from the GTC Section to the new profiles (AISC 14.1 and CISC 9.2 tables).
If you export a model that contains ZZZ-Obsolete profiles and then you import it back in Advance Steel, the new model will be created using the new profiles.
