Roombook is based on AutoCAD Architecture functionality and extends it.
Related to AutoCAD Architecture spaces and zones, Roombook program calculates the surfaces and materials of walls, floors and ceilings as well as room perimeter and furniture objects, on a per space bases.
Different country-specific standards for calculating room quantities are included:
- The International Standard calculates the real quantities.
- The German VOB Standard includes an opening measurement system for calculating or ignoring openings in walls, floors and ceilings depending on their size.
