Visual LISP utilizes syntax coloring to help you identify code elements.
Note: The Visual LISP IDE is available on Windows only.
Change the default colors
- In Visual LISP, click Tools Window Attributes Configure Current.
- In the Window Attributes dialog box, select an item from the Elements drop-down list that represents the element whose color coding you want to change.
A preview of the text is displayed just above the color swatches, and the color swatches are also updated to reflect the current foreground and background colors of the selected item.
- Click a color from the top row of color swatches to set the foreground color to be applied to the element, or click Transparent FG to not use a foreground color.
- Click a color from the bottom row of color swatches to set the background color to be applied to the element, or click Transparent BG to not use a background color.
- Click OK.
Set the color coding for file types other than AutoLISP
- In Visual LISP, create or open a file type other than AutoLISP.
- Click Tools Window Attributes Syntax Coloring.
- In the Color Style dialog box, select the type of color coding to apply for the file type open in the current text editor window.
- Click OK.
