AutoCAD 2016-based products use the same drawing format as AutoCAD 2013 through AutoCAD 2015. When sharing drawing files with users on AutoCAD 2012 or earlier, you will need to save your drawings to the appropriate drawing file format using the SAVEAS command or another method.
