To Set a Default Symbol Library

1. Exit AutoCAD Electrical.
2. Make a back-up copy of your environment (.env) file. To find the full name and path of your environment (.env) file, right-click a project name inside the Project Manager, and select Settings.
3. Open the .env file in a text editor such as WordPad.
4. Look for a line in the environment file that begins with "WD_LIB."
5. Edit this line to reflect the path of your default library.
   • Enter a specific path:

     WD_LIB,n:/elec/syms/,AutoCAD Electrical symbols

   • Use %ACAD_SUP_LAST% or %ACAD_SUP_FIRST%to point to the last (or first) path defined in your AutoCAD Options Files Support file path:

     WD_LIB,%ACAD_SUP_LAST%,AutoCAD Electrical symbols

     WD_LIB,%ACAD_SUP_FIRST%,AutoCAD Electrical symbols

6. Save and close the file.
