To Export the Current Drawing to an IGES File

AutoCAD Mechanical supports export to a wider range of IGES entities than the AutoCAD IGESEXPORT command.

1. At the Command prompt, enter IGESOUT.
2. In the IGESOUT Translation dialog box, in the Files of type box, select IGES (*.igs, *.iges).
3. In the File Name box, specify the name of the IGES file.
4. Click Save.
