To Create a Leader Note Using the Symbol Library

The leader note symbol library applies the most appropriate template to the note text corresponding to the object the note is attached to.

1. Click Annotate tabSymbol panelLeader Note. Find
2. Select an object to attach the leader note to.
3. If you attached the symbol to a line, in the drawing area, specify the start point for the leader.

   If you attached the object to an arc, circle, ellipse or spline, skip to the next step.

4. Specify one or more points to define the vertices of the leader, and then press ENTER.
5. In the Symbol tab, in the Library section, double-click the symbol from the library.
6. In the multi-line text editor, change the note text as required.
   Note: In Preview display mode, select Rendered text colored to view how the leader note appears in the drawing area.
7. Click OK.
