You can position the graph relative to the start of the path or explicitly. If you select Offset From Start Of Path, specify the offset X and Y values. If you want set an explicit position, do as follows:
- Clear the Offset From Start Of Path checkbox.
- Select Pick.
- Position the graph and left click to confirm.
You can also set the height and width explicitly or have these values scale with the rest of the drawing. To set explicit values, select Height and/or Width. To scale the graph, select Y-Scale and/or X-Scale. In each case, you will need to enter suitable values for height and width.
Control the annotation Text Height either with explicit minimum and maximum values, or select Scale Font Size.
Select the other features to display in the graph:
- Show Grid Lines displays a regular background grid. Adjust the spacing in each direction if necessary. Click the line button to change the line color, type, or other attributes.
- Show Axes displays the axes, and offers options to Show Origin with a circle, and change line attributes.
- Show Bounding Box encloses the graph in a box. Show Leader Line draws a line connecting the bounding box to the path. Note that the position of the connecting line is automatic and cannot be manually controlled. Click the line button to change any line attributes.
- Show Steering plots a graph of the steering angle. Show Max Angle draws a line representing the maximum steering angle. Click the line button to change any line attributes.
- Show Secondary Steering plots a graph of the angles of any manually controlled secondary steered axles. Show Max Angle draws a line representing the maximum secondary steering angle. Click the line button to change any line attributes.
- Show Linked Steering plots a graph of the angles of any linked steered axles. Click the line button to change any line attributes.
- Show Articulation plots a graph of the articulation angle(s). Show Max Articulation draws a line or lines representing the maximum articulation angle(s). Click the line button to change any line attributes.
- Show Section Lines draws vertical lines on the graph at every model change, such as change of speed, or steering limit. Show Speed indicates the speed and direction along the bottom of the graph. Click the line button to change any line attributes.
- Show Discrete Body Positions draws vertical lines wherever a discrete body outline has been placed on the path. Show Leader Line draws lines connecting the path to the graph at each discretely placed body outline. Click the line button to change any line attributes.
- Label Peaks annotates the graph to show the angle at every maximum in each direction. Show % Of Max Angles also shows this angle expressed as a percentage of the maximum. Click the line button to change any line attributes.
