The check boxes in the upper section of the dialog control how much of the 3D model Autodesk Vehicle Tracking creates and updates.
- Create Alignments creates the horizontal alignments, and if this setting is selected, you can also select Update Alignments to update the alignments automatically when geometry changes.
- Create Profiles creates vertical profiles along the horizontal alignments, and if this setting is selected, you can also select Update Profiles to update the profiles automatically when geometry changes.
- Create Corridor creates a 3D corridor model using default assemblies, and if this setting is selected, you can also select Update Corridor to update the corridor automatically when geometry changes.
- Create Corridor Top Surface, if selected, provides the option to Create Merged Ground Surface.
- Use Simple Road Assembly builds the corridor with simple assemblies, consisting of just a road surface with no curbs. These assemblies are based on the Civil 3D Primary Road Through Intersection assembly with right and left subassemblies renamed to offside and nearside in accordance with the driving convention. If you clear the Use Simple Road Assembly selection, more complex assemblies are used for the entry and exit roads. These assemblies are based on the Civil 3D Primary Road Part Section – Daylight Right (or Left) again with right and left renamed to offside and nearside in accordance with the driving convention.
- Use Curb Baselines inserts the assemblies on the nearside curb alignment. If cleared, which is the default setting, assemblies are inserted on the crown lines and targeted to the nearside curb and centerline alignments.
- Normally the 3D model is constructed with calculated profiles; this is the default. If you select Drape Corridor On Surface, the assemblies take their levels from the original surface profiles rather than the calculated profiles.
