Specify vehicle orientation and other presentation details for the turn template
For the Vehicle Start Orientation, note that if you are inserting the template into a drawing you will be able to rotate it as it is inserted.
For the Vehicle Turn Direction, if you are generating printed templates, then this selection may be affected by which side of the road you drive on.
For Reports, select at least one of the following, and as many as desired:
- Wheel Track Envelope is useful if curbs are likely to be critical, and Body Envelope if walls or other high obstacles are critical. Body Envelope Offset is useful if you want to specify a linear clearance margin.
- Lead In Distance shows the vehicle travelling straight for the specified distance before starting to turn.
- Curb Offset shows a curb line at a specified distance adjacent to the starting position of the vehicle.
- Outer Circle Of Radius and Inner Circle Of Radius display circles representing the outer and inner turning boundaries.
- Vehicle Diagram shows a dimensioned image of the vehicle alongside the template. This is particularly useful on the printed templates.
- Place In A Title Block is useful for printed templates, as it adds a title block with the vehicle name and other details.
Click Finish to generate the template.
If you are inserting a block then move it into position and confirm by left clicking. You may use the Rotate command to adjust the orientation.
