The Tram Body shape is defined with eight dimensions.
The Overall body length and Overall body width define the basic rectangular body.
The Front taper width is the amount by which the front of the tram body narrows on each side at the end. For example, if the uniform body width is 2m and the end width is 1m then the taper width is 0.5m. Likewise Rear taper width.
The Front taper length is the distance from the start of the body width reduction to the end of the tram body. Likewise, Rear taper length.
The Front end radius defines a curve of the front of the body. If the front end radius is less than half the end width (defined as the overall body width minus twice the front taper width) a semi-circle is added. If you specify a negative front end radius, the front of the tram will be concave (i.e. curved inwards instead of outwards). This is used on the trams we provide to represent the inter-car turntable at articulation points. Likewise, Rear end radius.
