This dialog shows a scale picture of the current vehicle. Initially the picture is centred on the geometric centre of the vehicle but you can change the focus by simply clicking on the picture. The principal dimensions are listed below the diagram.
Click Zoom In to double the view scale and Zoom Out to halve the view scale. Note that using either button disables the AutoScale feature (see below).
Click Zoom Extents to restore a full size view of the entire vehicle. Using this button re-enables the AutoScale feature (see below).
You can increase or decrease the steering angle shown using Increase Steering Angle and Decrease Steering Angle respectively. Likewise, the articulation angles can be changed with Increase Articulation Angles and Decrease Articulation Angles.
If you want the picture to zoom to extents when you highlight a new vehicle, click AutoScale. You can disable this to make it easier to see the relative sizes of the vehicles as you scan through a library. This option is automatically disabled if you zoom in or out manually but is re-enabled if you zoom to extents.
To display the reference datum for each unit, click Show Datum. This also shows the location of the driver or pilot.
To display dimensions on the diagram, click Show Dimensions.
To display load outlines, click Show Loads and/or Show Other Outlines to display any other outline types.
To hide the detailed outline and display just a silhouette of the vehicle, click Show Simple Body Outlines.
To show 30-, 60-, 90-, 120-, 150-, and 180-degree turn templates for front-steered vehicles only, click Show Turn Template.
Click Show Body to display just the bodies, Show Chassis to see just the chassis elements, or Show All to see both. The colors are the default colors used for reporting. Click Show Elevation to display a side view of the vehicle.
