Use this procedure to use a tool from a tool catalog in the AutoCAD Civil 3D workspace. You can also copy tools stored in a tool package to a tool palette in the tool palette set.
- Open the tool catalog containing the tool you want to use. If the tool is located in a specific category of the catalog, open that category.
- Move the pointer over the i-drop icon on the tool, so that the pointer image changes to an eyedropper (
).To select multiple tools to copy, Ctrl+click each tool; then position the eyedropper over any of the selected tools. You can also select all the tools in the current category by right-clicking and clicking Select All.
- Click the eyedropper and drag it into the drawing area.
