Defining an Enumeration Group

To define an enumeration group

1. On the menu bar, click ViewDefine Enumeration.
2. In the Define Enumeration dialog box, under Enum Group, click CreateEnumGroup.
3. Enter a name for the enumeration group.

   The group name cannot begin with a numeral or contain spaces or special characters.

4. Under Enum Item, click CreateEnumItem.
5. Enter a name for the enumeration item.

   The item name cannot begin with a numeral or contain spaces or special characters.

6. Optionally, specify a Display Name.

   The Display Name is the item name that is displayed in AutoCAD Civil 3D. By default, the Display Name is identical to the Enum Item name, but you can specify a unique Display Name.

   The display name cannot begin with a numeral or contain spaces or special characters.

7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 to create more enumeration items as necessary.
8. Click OK.
