View and Save Your License Information

1. Start your Autodesk product.
2. Click Help > About or About [Product Name].
3. In the About window, click Product Information or Product License Information.

   Here, you can view your serial number, license type, and other information about your license. Autodesk Product Support sometimes asks for this information.

4. To save this information for future reference, click Save As. Name the file, select a location, and click Save.
5. Click Close.

Change Your Serial Number

After your purchase a new license, you can change your serial number without reinstalling the product. However, you must reinstall if you change your license type, for example, from stand-alone to network.

1. Start your Autodesk product.
2. Click Help > About, or About [Product Name].
3. In the About window, click Product Information or Product License Information.
4. In the Product License Information dialog box, click Update.
5. Enter your product serial number and click Activate.

   You should see the updated serial number. If you don't, restart your product to display it.

6. In the Product License Information dialog box, click Close.
