The Sync Navisworks suite workflow opens the active Inventor layout in Navisworks. The assembly file is saved in .nwf format for improved performance within the Navisworks environment.
Syncing with Navisworks creates a Navisworks file with the same name as the Inventor file and stores it in the same location. If there is a 2D DWG overlay linked with the 3D layout, the DWG file is appended to the file if the Load associated file option is selected in the Options Editor.
