Update a Price List

To update an existing price list:

1. If you need to update a large quantity of price list data, you might want to first update that information in an external spreadsheet, and have that application available for cutting and pasting into the Autodesk Fabrication product.
2. On the Database dialog, click Costing Price Lists.
3. Select the Supplier Group and Price List that need to be updated.
4. In the Autodesk Fabrication product, on the Database Costing Price Lists dialog, scroll down to the end.
5. Copy the data from the external spreadsheet table, and paste it in to the table in the Database dialog (click Paste).
6. Set the Configure Import dialog as described below, and then click OK.
   • ID Maps To: Set this to MAP Database Id.
   • Currency: For imperial content, set this to $ (USD).
   • Data Contains Field Names: Select (enable) this option by placing a check mark in the check box.
   • Requirements: In this pane, for each parameter in the Field column, select a corresponding identical value in the Use column.
7. In Price List Update dialog, make sure the quantity of Update Entries is the same as those copied from the external spreadsheet table, and click OK to close this dialog.
8. Click OK on the Database dialog.
