Description
The Autofold DEC file is composed of a Header Line, Item Lines, and a Footer Line. The functions of each of these is described below.
Header Line
The Autofold Format starts with a single header line made up of 4 fields:

3 | Unit | M for Metric Units I for Imperial Units |
4 | Data Lines | Number Data lines following the Header line |
Item Lines
The Autofold format continues with a data line for each item to be manufactured. This is made up of 13 data fields on each data line.

3 | Section Name | One of these Text Values: "BOX STD" - Full wrap - Seam Folds = NO "BOX PITTS" - Full wrap - Seam Folds = YES "L STD" - 2 x L shapes - Seam Folds = NO "L PITTS" - 2 x L shapes - Seam Folds = YES "U STD" - U Shape "FLATLOCK" - One Flat side with allowances "FLAT" - One Flat side - Used for Nest Blanks This is controlled by the Folds setting for Seam in the Seams tab of Installed Decoiler setup. |
4 | Seam Name | Seams as set up in Pattern Database e.g. "RAS" |
5 | Dim 1 | Size of first Duct side |
6 | Dim 2 | Size of second Duct side |
7 | Dim 3 | Always 0 |
8 | Length | Length of Straight = Coil Width |
9 | Gauge | Material Gauge or thickness in mm |
