You can collapse branches in the schematic into a group to reduce clutter in the schematic. You can also temporarily hide an object or objects in the schematic to see different results, for example.
To group a branch:
- Select an object with children in the schematic view.
- Click Group, or right-click the parent object, and choose Group to collapse the selected object and all its children into a group.
A blue group node appears in the schematic to represent the entire group.
Note: Collapsed groups cannot act as parents, but you can parent nodes to a group.
- To uncollapse the group, click Group again, or right-click the Group node and select Ungroup.
Note: Groups created in the Schematic view are not related to groups created in the Priority Editor.
To hide an object or objects:
- Select and object or multiple objects in the schematic view.
- Click Hide, or right-click the object, and choose Hide.
(hidden) appears after the object name in the schematic.
- To unhide the object, click Hide again, or right-click the object and select Show.
