You can build out a drainage network anywhere and use Highlight Drainage Network to show its full extent. The highlighted drainage network shows the extent of the network analyzed and re-sized by Size Drainage Network, the fine-tuning tool.
Note: Size Drainage Network comes in two versions: the standalone version,
, re-sizes structures belonging to a single network. Highlight Drainage Network works especially well with this version, identifying the extent of the single network. The design road-based version (on the road's right-click menu) resizes all the structures along the selected design road, which may be a larger extent than you want to work with.
