About High Feedrate Mapping

The High feedrate mode settings found on the Linking tab allow you to map rapid movements (G0s) into feed moves (G1s).

The High feedrate mode settings are usually set to make the CNC machine run more smoothly, or to avoid collisions at rapids on CNC machines which perform "dog-leg" movements at rapid. The post processor configuration can also be customized to do the high feed mapping automatically.
