To Machine Irregular Stock

Adaptive Clearing supports stock definitions of any shape.

Irregular stock

1. In Inventor, create the stock as a separate solid body.
2. In Inventor HSM, create a new setup and select the created stock.
3. Open the Adaptive Clearing parameters and set the machining boundary to None.

4. Enable Rest Machining and set the Rest material source to From setup stock.
