The Electrical Catalog Browser uses the catalog database file, default_cat.mdb, installed with AutoCAD Electrical. The default location of the database is C:\Users\{username}\Documents\Acade {version}\AeData\{language code}\Catalogs\ . You can move the catalog database to a different location. You can also reference a different catalog database file, for example a project specific catalog database.
The Electrical Catalog Browser also supports a secondary database. For example, the primary database can contain the catalog information that you commonly use, and the secondary database can contain the full list of catalog content available with AutoCAD Electrical.
Click 
on the Electrical Catalog Browser to change the primary catalog database file and location, or to define a secondary catalog database.
