To Animate a Presentation View

Edit Tasks and Sequences

  1. Set the browser view to Sequence View.
  2. Select a Task or Sequence in the browser, right-click, and select Edit.
  3. In the Edit Task and Sequences dialog box, select a Task or Sequence from the list, and then:
    • Click Play Forward to view animation of the Task or Sequence.

      After you play the animation, click Reset to set the animation back to the start and to make edits in the dialog box.

    • Enter a Description in the edit box.
    • Change the Interval value to control the playback speed for the animation. The higher the number, the greater the time delay between frames.
    • Use the View Cube or navigation commands on the View toolbar to change the orientation of the view. Then click Set Camera to save the current camera settings to the selected Sequence.
    • To save your edits:

    • Click Apply. Then select another Task or Sequence and continue editing.
    • Click OK to finish the command.

Reorganize Animation Actions

To change the order of the animation actions, reorder the sequences and tweaks in the Sequence View of the browser.

Record an Animation

  1. On the ribbon, click Presentation tab Create panel Animate.
  2. In the Animation dialog box:
    • Set the number of repetitions.
    • Change the Interval value to control the playback speed for the animation. The higher the number, the greater the time delay between frames.
    • If appropriate, select Minimize Dialog During Recording.
    • Click Apply to save the changes.
  3. To preview the animation in the graphic window, click one of the Motion commands.

    To stop the animation and make edits in the dialog box, click Reset.

  4. To record the animation to a file, click Record.
  5. In the Save As dialog box, specify the location, type, and name for the animation file, and click Save.
  6. In the WMV Export Properties dialog box, specify properties of the recorded animation.
  7. Click one of the play commands to start recording.
