To Create a Presentation Template

All new presentation files are created with a template. You can create your own templates and add them to the Templates folder.

1. Create a presentation, using an existing template.
2. Set the properties for the file. Use Display Appearance Settings in the Document Settings dialog box to specify dataset specific scene elements such as shadows and lighting style.
3. Save the file in the Templates folder or a subfolder of the Templates folder. The location of your Templates folder is controlled by the active project. The default location is C:\ Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor [version]\Templates. A presentation file automatically becomes a template when it is saved to the Templates folder.
   Note: The file standard.ipn in the Templates folder is the default presentation template. To replace the default template, remove standard.ipn and replace it with a template that has the same name.
