Install a Single-user Environment

Note: For detailed information on installing Content Libraries when creating a deployment , refer to the Content Center access options topics.
  1. Install Autodesk Inventor and Content Center libraries for Desktop Content on the local computer.
  2. After installation, configure Autodesk Inventor for the local Content Center libraries.
  3. In the Project dialog box, click Folder Options. Then specify a path to the root folder for the Content Center library files used by the current project. Content Center library files are created in this location when you place or open a standard part from Content Center.

    To access standard parts created in a previous Inventor version, specify the path to the location that was used in the previous version.

  4. Click Save.
Note: You can transfer Inventor Content Center user libraries from the previous release from the Autodesk Vault server format to Desktop Content format. For installation details, refer to the Autodesk Vault Installation Help located on the Autodesk Vault Server media.
