Constraint Suppression Override <IvConstraintSuppressionOverride>

Synopsis

For an assembly controlled by a positional representation, suppression status, constraint values, grounding status and flexibility status can be overridden. Components with overrides are indicated in bold font, with the override value shown in parentheses. Values of the master positional representation can not be overridden. Inventor constraint suppression override restores additional degrees of freedom between the two components referenced by the constraint. Usually assembly constraints are suppressed to allow a component to move without deleting any constraints, to investigate kinematic behavior.
