As part of Inventor Publisher installation a Publisher word add-in is installed. This add-in shows up the next time Microsoft Word is launched. The add-in allows to link a work document to multiple Inventor Publisher ipb files. The word document can then be used to create customized publication materials.
There are two workflows to use the word add-in.
Open a new word document and link an Inventor Publisher ipb file. The word add-in browser is now populated with all the snapshots information. Drag and drop the required data in to word to create a custom publication.
Word Add-In Options
Publishing a word document from with in Inventor Publisher automatically links the ipb file to the word document. The word document can be opened to make the required changes. The word add-in options are the same as the workflow of new word document.
