Vault Login
Log in to a vault server using the Vault add-in to access files to insert to a publisher document or open Publisher ipb files. Inventor Publisher 2016 supports logging in to Vault server 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Note: A valid Autodesk Vault user account is required to access the database. Contact the administrator of your server for your account information and server location.

Log In Vault 2016
- User Name - Displays the Vault account user name.
- Password - Displays the password.
- Server - Displays the server name where Autodesk Vault is installed. The names of the last several vaults that were accessed are retained in the drop-down list. You can select the name of the vault from the list or click the expansion button to see the complete list of previously accessed vaults. If you do not know the name of the vault, contact your administrator.
- Vault Selects the Vault version.
Log In Vault 2013-15
- User Name - Displays the Vault account user name.
- Password - Displays the password.
- Server - Displays the server name where Autodesk Vault is installed. The names of the last several vaults that were accessed are retained in the drop-down list. You can select the name of the vault from the list or click the expansion button to see the complete list of previously accessed vaults. If you do not know the name of the vault, contact your administrator.
- Database - Name of the database to access on the server.
Options
- Automatic login next session - Vault user name and password are stored to allow automatic login when the product is launched.
- Windows Authentication - Use windows log in user name and password to log in to the vault. Using Windows Authentication requires a Vault Professional server.
