Callout is a leader annotation that is associated to a component. Manual text or component properties are valid entries in a callout. Various properties controls the look of a callout .
Callout Properties:
Font - Controls the font type, size, color and also the bold, underline and italic of the text.
Text Alignment - Aligns text to the right, center, or left.
Arrowhead - Selects the arrowhead type from a preset list for the callout.
Fill - Fills the callout with a specific color. The default fill for a callout is no fill.
Outline - Sets the color and width of the callout.
Shape - Selects the shape of the callout from a preset list. The default shape selected is a rectangle.
Leader - Selects leader style for the callout. The default for a callout is the simple line leader style.
Simple Line - A line leader connects the component and the callout.
Elbow - A line leader with an elbow connects the component and the callout.
Cone - A cone shaped leader connects the component and the callout.
Style - Provides a list of preset callout styles.
Associate Property - Extracts component properties like part number, and so on, using this option for the callout.
Auto size - The shape of the callout auto adjusts to the size of the text. Auto size is set to ON by default.
Keep On Top - The annotation is always in the foreground even on component rotation.
Pin to screen -The callout is pinned to the screen in 2D space. Moving or rotating the component does not change the position of the callout.
Halo - Applies a halo effect to the callout. The command is available only when the background is set to solid.
Halo Gap - Adjusts the width of the halo effect. The command is available when Halo is checked.
