Publish to PDF uses the predefined PDF templates or a custom template to generate the output.
PDF Type:
2D PDF - Storyboards are published to a static PDF document.
3D PDF - Storyboards are published as an interactive document where the model can be rotated, zoomed etc.
Note: Viewers that can handle 3D PDFs need to be installed to open these published documents.

Select what to publish:
Current Document - Publish all the storyboards that the document contains.
Current Storyboard - Publish the current storyboard.
Current Snapshot - Publish the current snapshot.
Language - Select a language from the drop-down list.
Select Template
Standard templates - Two standard PDF templates are included with Inventor Publisher. They are stored in the following location:
Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 - \\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor Publisher XXXX\Templates\PDF
Custom templates - Creates custom templates and also access these templates from any location including network locations.
More - Adds PDF templates from the specified location to the template list. Click Browse to select the location where the templates are stored.
Publish Transparent Background in Images - Removes the current background and applies a transparent background.
Scale Annotations - Scales annotations to the output resolution. When this option is not selected(the default), annotations maintain the same positions as in the Publisher file. Annotation positions vary from the Publisher file.
Display Published File in Adobe Reader - The published document automatically opens in the appropriate viewer, if installed.
