Timeline view is the alternative to the default thumbnail view of the storyboard editor. Timeline view shows the various actions that took place in that snapshot. All edits that are made to a particular snapshot are captured in order and listed in the timeline view. The actions that are registered in the timeline view are discussed.
Actions:
Component Visibility - Component visibility changes are registered as an action.
Appearance Style - Any appearance changes to a component using the appearance style is registered as an action.
Opacity - Opacity changes to a component using the opacity command is registered as an action.
Color - Color changes to a component using color command is registered as an action.
Explode - Component position changes using any of the explode commands are registered as an action.
Move - Component position changes using the move command is registered as an action.
Trail Visibility - Turning on/off trails in a snapshot is registered as an action.
Annotations - Annotations like callouts, image annotations, and label are each registered as an individual action
Camera - Changes to model position using view cube, orbit command, or the orthographic/perspective commands are registered as an action.
Tip: 1 - Any action can be dragged and dropped in to another snapshot and target snapshot is updated with the new action.
Tip: 2 - Selecting an action highlights all the components that are related to the action in the canvas browser and in the graphics screen.
